BLOOD! POOP! PAINT! (NO SPOILERS)

My bite-sized review will go into no details or spoilers but focus on my immediate feelings/nerves after viewing this French Horror Film.

I was on the edge of my seat THE ENTIRE TIME! Myself and my friend Heather, for our own reasons! I didn’t want to HEAR her bite someone and she didn’t want to SEE her bite someone! So many cringing and disgusting moments in the film but not from the things you’d expect. Some of the sex scenes could have been hot if I wasn’t freaking out and screaming, “DO NOT BITE HIM! SHE’S GONNA BITE HIM! DON’T BITE HIM! PLEASE DON’T BITE HIM!”

I didn’t know I would be disturbed by a cow, “harmless” waxing, fun paint, and close ups on what we have on the menu! The director of this film did an excellent job with camera angles and using a unique score to build anxiety-filled anticipation. I spent more time dreading the unknown than what I was actually left with.

Truth be told… I’m not disappointed because my favorite horror movies are the kinds that make me feel not so good inside when their run time is up. That’s how I feel right now… not so good.
