A dark enchantment that made me a better person!!!

In this enchanting retelling of “Little Red Ridinghood”, the reader is given a dark world of magic, covens, witchfinders, and werewolves. It bounces back and forth between the events leading up to “The Moon Curse” and the way it affects the main character, Red.

But I am actually here to highlight what I felt this novel did best… it perfectly captured abuse from both male and female perspectives! I’ve been through the things certain male characters have gone through, so I connected deeply to their inner dialogues and emotions. When it came to the females abused in the story, I felt like the author helped me step out of myself and into the realities of her strong female leads!

I have grown from this book, especially in empathy and understanding. It was filled with spells, violence, plot twists, and complicated characters! I cannot wait for book 2!
